Looking For Additional YA Titles?

Have you been searching for a specific YA title you’re dying to read?  Is it a book we don’t have at the Tucker Free Library? Do you have an MP3 player? An Ipod? A computer? (if you don’t have a computer, come into the library and use ours!) If so, check out the New Hampshire Downloadable Audio Book Library. As a library patron of the Tucker Free Library all you need is your library ID number (on the back of your card, it’s five digits long), which you add 4566 to. For example, if your library ID number was 03248, you would put in 456603248.

The first thing you need to do is download the free Overdrive software onto your computer. Then you are able to search the audiobook library for titles, download them to your computer, and transfer them to your MP3 player.

Looking for 3 Willows by Ann Brashares? They’ve got it! Splendor (the newest Luxe book which I talked about in a recent post)? They’ve got it! They also have the rest of the Luxe series if you wanted to start from the beginning.

They also have Kristin Cashare’s Fire, Alyson Noel’s Blue Moon (the sequel to Evermore, which they also have), Wings by Aprilynne Pike, and Paper Towns by John Green.

It’s a great resource for new YA titles which we might not have in the library yet; and it’s completely free! So use it!

If you have any trouble downloading audiobooks or have any questions at all, please feel free to stop by or email me at marthamack@tuckerfreelibrary.org and I’ll answer questions/troubleshoot with you.
